First Post, Introduction

Well. This is my first blog. A lot of people have done it already so it's not unique or original or anything. But I need something for history/political science to complement the rest of my studies, and a blog was one of the options. So I've started this blog, with the goal of providing some different political ideas, analysis of current events, history studies, and also just my random thoughts when I feel like writing them down. Hopefully they won't be a dis-appointment to whoever happens to wonder along and read them, if somebody does that is.

Vercingétorix était un célèbre chef Gaulois du clan arvernes (actuellement de la région Auvergne), du premier siècle avant J.-C. Son nom réel - Vercingétorix veut dire le grand roi des guerriers - n’est pas connu, parce que le Gaulois croyaient que le nom de naissance possède pouvoirs spéciaux. L’information à propos de lui c’est très limité, principalement de quelques historiens romaines et l'archéologie. On connaît qu’il est né environ de -80, et il était le fils de Celtill, qui voulait restaurer la royauté Arverne à son profit, et ainsi a été exécuté.
